Advanced Apprenticeships are designed to provide people with a new route into managerial, supervisory and technician jobs in their chosen career area. The content will be tailored to the particular requirements of the company. All Advanced Apprenticeships will provide the opportunity to develop the skills necessary for the job in which the person is employed, as well as those which are important for all jobs (eg communication, numeracy and IT skills). Entry Requirements

Candidates must have the ability to achieve an NVQ Level 3 and the associated Key Skills for their employment sector. The Employer/Learning Provider will set the entry requirements for the employment opportunity depending on the skills and qualifications required by the company. Most Advanced Apprenticeships frameworks also require the completion of a Technical Certificate.

Recruitment takes place via the Training Provider or the employer by means of a selection process. Candidates will be required to attend an interview along with other applicants. Financial

An Advanced Apprentice will generally be employed by the company and receive a wage for the job. Rates will vary but should reflect the standards within the chosen industry. Rates paid will not be less than £95.00 per week.
