Full time course for young people at St Thomas More High School
This course aims to meet the needs of students who wish to develop their scientific understanding through authentic, work-related contexts. The course focuses on procedural and technical knowledge that underpins the work of practitioners of science and gives students an insight into what is involved in being a practitioner of science.
Students take a total of 4 units. All students take a Work-related Portfolio. Three units are taken from the following: Life Care; Agriculture and Food; Scientific Detection; Harnessing Chemicals; Communications; Materials and Performance.
